The new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte has been recently taken for a spin by the guys at Auto Express and what came out can be seen in the video posted below.
After it was officially unveiled a few months ago, the new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of the guys at Auto Express, who have recently went for a spin in the luxurious four-door coupe. The new Maserati Quattroporte, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is coming with a V6 and a V8 engine, sourced from Ferrari, which will also be used on future Alfa Romeo models.
The all-new Maserati Quattroporte, in the entry-level version, will get a 3.0 liter V6 unit under its hood, producing a total output of 410 HP and helping the model sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 285 km/h. If this isn’t enough for you, Maserati is also offering a larger 3.8 liter V8 with twin-turbo and direct injection, which is able to produce a total output of 530 HP and 670 Nm of torque, but thanks to overboost, the torque figure can increase up to 720 Nm. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in this version takes 4.7 seconds and top speed stands at 307 km/h.
