After it was officially unveiled just a few months ago, the final production version of the Volkswagen XL1 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, with has been released by the British automotive journalists at Auto Express. The Volkswagen XL1, in its final production form, will set you back for approximately 110,000 euros and only 200 units will be produced. Power to the model will be provided by an 800cc two-cylinder diesel engine, which is producing 47 HP, being backed up by an electric motor, generating an extra 27 HP, mated to the 5.5 kWh battery pack. The XL1 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 12.7 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph).
