[VIDEO] Autoexpress tests the Dacia Duster off-road image

The British journalists at Autoexpress magazine have recently taken the Dacia Duster for an off-road test drive.

After it was officially introduced into the United Kingdom just a couple of months ago, the Dacia Duster with right-hand drive is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time by the Autoexpess magazine, who has taken the Romanian SUV out for a spin off-road. What came out of the test drive can be seen in the video posted below.

As a quick reminder, the Dacia Duster has a starting price of 8,995 GBP in the United Kingdom for the base entry-level version and the cheapest variant of the SUV is coming with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine, which is producing a total output of 104 horsepower, sent to the front-wheel drive system. If you prefer a diesel, you can choose between the two configurations of the 1.5 dCi unit, with its 85 HP and 105 HP. This version of the Romanian SUV is coming with a permanent all-wheel drive system and if you choose the Ambiance trim, you will get USB, Bluetooth and a CD player, while the high-end version, the Laureate, which starts at 12,995 pounds for the FWD, is adding leather trimmed steering wheel, air conditioning and 16-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.

I suggest that the driver reads the Duster UK specification before passing comments, then he may not have made such ridiculous comments. The ground clearance at 205 mm plus approach an departure angles better than most 4×4's, and the fact that the UK cars will have selectable 4 wheel drive makes the Duster a more capable vehicle than he or Dale Wyatt ( whose opinions were irrelevant) gave it credit for.
