Five units of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster have been recently taken to the Miami International Airport where they managed to hit speeds up to 210 mph (338 km/h).
After we have met the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster for the first time just a few months ago, the newest creation signed by the “raging bull” is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker bringing five units of the supercar to the Miami International Airport. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has given a special clearance to the five Aventador Roadsters and the supercars have managed to hit speeds of up to 210 mph (338 km/h).
“It has been a great pleasure to work with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department and South Beach teams on today’s amazing demonstrations. I have never seen something similar at a Lamborghini event”, said Stephan Winkelmann, the Lamborghini CEO.
As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3 seconds, 0.1 seconds slower than the Coupe, before reaching a top speed of 217 mph. The supercar is coming with the same 6.5 liter V12 engine, producing 690 HP. Prices for the model have been set at 318,000 USD.
