Another prototype of the new Bentley Bentayga has been spotted recently, on the Nurburgring, while it was being tested out.
In case you’ve been missing out on the future luxury SUVs coming from carmakers such as Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce or Bentley, don’t despair because the Bentayga at least is just around the corner. The clip posted below is showing us yet another prototype of the luxury cruiser in action, on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, so may want to turn your volume up before clicking the play button because you will enjoy the engine sound.
The new Bentley Bentayga is said to be the “world’s most powerful SUV”. The model in question will be based mostly on the new generation of the Audi Q7 and it is expected to weigh around 2,000 kg. The vehicle will also be the first model produced by Bentley which will be equipped with a diesel engine. Chances are the carmaker will be making use of a V8 turbo diesel, but this will not be the only unit available, as we are expecting a twin turbo W12 TSI petrol burner too, with 600 HP and 900 Nm of torque, along with a “greener” plug-in hybrid powertrain, which will follow sometimes in 2017. The Bentley Bentayga will be making its public debut at the 2016 NAIAS in Detroit, next January, or at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, in March. More details on it are limited at this time.
