Bentley has recently released a new teaser video with the Continental GT3, which will be officially unveiled this weekend, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Bentley has already announced its plans to introduce the Continental GT3 race car at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed last week but now the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, for the same automotive event, this time with the help of a teaser video. The footage posted below is showing glimpses of the race car and several zoomed in body panels, which should be enough to make the company’s fans curious about it.
The Bentley Continental GT3 is getting an aerodynamic body kit with different front and rear bumpers and a carbon fiber rear wing, along with competition braking system, a track-oriented suspension system, a carbon fiber racing seat, a roll cage and some other tweaks. Power is being provided by a 4.0 liter V8 engine, which is mated to a six-speed sequential racing transmission, sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The racer will weigh 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) than the regular version of the Continental GT and it will be eligible to compete is a lot of events, including 24-hour endurance races. More details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced this weekend.
