[VIDEO] BMW 2-Series Active Tourer gets previewed by What Car?
The British automotive journalists from What Car? are offering a preview of the brand new BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, in the 218d version.
It hasn’t been long since BMW has announced the official price list of the new 2-Series Active Tourer in the United Kingdom and the guys from What Car? have already released a preview video with the model. The vehicle highlighted below is in its 218d version and it’s also the first ever BMW model to get a front-wheel drive. The BMW 2-Series Active Tourer has nothing in common with the 2-Series Coupe, despite its name. The model is getting an engine lineup borrowed from MINI and the entry-level 218i is getting a 1.5 liter three-cylinder unit, with 134 HP. The 218d version has 148 HP and a claimed fuel economy of 68.9 mpg. The lineup will soon be expanded with the addition of the 220i, 220d and 216d, along with the all-wheel drive versions. Prices for the entry-level 218i start at 22,150 GBP and for the 218d at 24,205 GBP in the United Kingdom.
