The 7-seater version of the new BMW 2-Series Active Tourer has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested out, on the famous Nurburgring track, in Germany.
If you are one of the few who is waiting for the 7-seat version of the new BMW 2-Series Active Tourer you should be glad because you won’t have to wait it much longer as the model in question is currently being tested out. BMW is making sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should, before introducing it by testing it on the Nurburgring.
The prototype seen in the video posted below is fully camouflaged and the final production version will be riding on the same front-wheel drive UKL platform but it might get a longer wheelbase. The rear doors will be bigger while the roof it will be taller. As far as the engine lineup goes, it will include the 1.5 liter three-cylinder petrol, with 136 HP (100 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 231 HP (170 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) 2.0 liter four-cylinder, and the 150 HP (110 kW) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque 2.0 liter diesel.
