BMW has released a promotional video with the recently unveiled 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept.
After being shown at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept is being highlighted once again, this time with the help of its first promo. The model is the racing version of the 3.0 CSL Hommage introduced at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and it is bringing the Brilliant White exterior finish, the 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels, the BMW M racing stripes, the revised front grille and several other goodies.
The interior design of the one-off vehicle hasn’t been ignored by the company either as this is bringing the carbon fiber seats which have been wrapped in white leather, the carbon fiber roll cage, the six-point safety harnesses, the wood trim with the illuminated sections, the eBoost charging indicator, a steering column mounted display, an emergency shut-off switch and so on. The new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept is said to celebrate 40 years of BMW North America and besides the above mentioned features, the carmaker has also created a unique helmet with a visor acting as a head-up display, showing the speed, engine revs and gear engaged, along with the unique racing suit with the illuminated piping lighting. If you were hoping to find out what is found under its hood you will be disappointed because BMW is currently keeping this detail a secret. However, you can check it out in the promo video and the photo gallery posted below.
