The impressive BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R has been caught on camera while roaring its engine during an event in Paris.
After we have seen it at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, in a world premiere, time has come for the brand new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R to make its debut on the Old Continent as well, as it has been officially unveiled during a special event in Paris, France. The concept car can be seen roaring its engine in the clip posted below, so all you have to do is scroll down and click the play button in order to check it out.
The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R is nothing more than the racing version of the 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept shown at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, earlier this year. The model is retaining its eye-catching elements and it has the Brilliant White shade covering its body and the BMW racing livery as well. The concept is also bringing the bolder splitter and revised kidney grilles, lightweight alloy wheels finished in a golden shade, carbon fiber racing-inspired seats in the cabin, wood trim, carbon fiber roll cage, six-pointe racing harnesses, steering column mounted display and more. The one-off vehicle is also getting the illuminated sections inside it and it has been developed to pay a tribute to the iconic 3.0 CSL which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. If you came here hoping to find out some of the performance specs of the car, you will be disappointed, because BMW is still not letting us know them.
