A Ferrari 458 Italia and a classic BMW 3-Series E30 have recently went head to head and the result is very surprising because the winner was the old Bimmer.
Tuning isn’t for everyone but if you know what you’re doing and you have the necessary money than the sky is the limit. This is what the driver and owner of this Ferrari 458 Italia, in the video posted below, has found out the hard way, after his ride turned out to be much slower than a modified BMW 3-Series E30. We don’t know for sure what engine the E30 is using, the description says E85 Turbo, but NOS is definitely involved.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia has been officially presented to the public for the first time back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Italian supercar is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 HP at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque available at 6,000 rpm, out of which 80 percent is coming in from 3,250 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
