The German based automaker BMW has recently released a new video in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the M3 CSL.
The BMW M3 CSL is designed to be an ultimate sports coupe, with its stripped out interior, lightweight components, like the carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof, trunk or center console, the lighter rear window and much more. The BMW M3 CSL has been a success and the 1,383 units produced have been sold in just a few months. The owners have started a new “trend” with the model in question and now they get to enjoy the 10th anniversary of the impressive vehicle.
The stripped BMW M3 CSL weighs 1,385 kg (3,054 lbs), which is more than 110 kg (243 lb) less than the standard M3. The engine has been tweaked in order to produce a total output of 360 HP (265 kW), which is allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
