After it was officially presented to the public back in November 2012, during the Los Angeles Auto Show, the all-new BMW i3 Coupe Concept is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the German based automaker releasing a new presentation video for the model. The BMW i3 Coupe Concept isn’t shown like a concept car and the company is highlighting the fact that it will eventually become a production vehicle.
The BMW i3 Coupe concept is powered by an electric motor which is generating a total output of 170 HP (125 kW) and 184 lb-ft of torque (250 Nm). The lithium-ion battery pack is allowing the model to achieve a total range of 100 miles (160 km) on a single charge. BMW says that the i3 Coupe Concept is 3,964mm long, 1,555mm tall and 1,768mm wide. The cabin of the model is now getting a digital instrument cluster, the iDrive infotainment system, eucalypus wood trim, leather / wool seats, two individual rear seats, brushed aluminum accents and more. Additional details on the i3 Coupe Concept will be announced soon.
