Another prototype of the upcoming BMW M2 Coupe is the subject of a spy video.
The BMW M2 Coupe is close to being officially unveiled, in its final production form, but until that will happen, in the weeks to come, videos like this will continue to provide us with some of the details of the car. This particular model has been spotted quietly sitting around in a parking lot but its camouflaged body, along with the necessary upgrades, have attracted a lot of curious eyes. Notice the front bumper with the beefier air intakes, the round fuel cap, the quad exhaust setup, the trunk lid spoiler, the blue brake calipers covered by the 19-inch wheels and so on.
BMW is believed to offer the Navigation Pro on the vehicle, the Harman Kardon sound system, the rearview camera, tinted rear windows, power heated front seats, two telephone system options, rear parking sensors and some carbon fiber inserts. Power to it will be provided by a 3.0 liter six-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will be producing a total of 365 HP (272 kW) and 465 Nm of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model will need approximately 4.5 seconds and top speed will be limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The rear-wheel drive car will get a standard 6-speed manual or an optional 7-speed DCT transmission. Additional details on it are limited at this time but it is expected to be unveiled during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
