No, it’s not a review of the brand new BMW M4 GTS but a promotional video released by the carmaker.
The BMW M4 GTS is ending up in our news once again, after being officially unveiled just a week ago, this time with the help of yet another video. The clip, which can be seen below, right after the jump, is two and a half minutes long and it is showing us the impressive midsized performance two-door vehicle in action, on the Anglesey Circuit. It has been released by BMW UK and you should plug in your headphones before clicking the play button because, we have to warn you, it is pretty noisy out there.
BMW is differentiating the M4 GTS from the standard Coupe through its new body kit, bringing the carbon fiber rear wing, the front splitter, both adjustable, the carbon fiber rear diffuser, a new hood and so on. The car is also adding the LED headlights and the OLED taillights, a first for a production vehicle, along with the M light-alloy wheels, the titanium exhaust system and so on. In the cabin we can notice the carbon fiber bucket seats with Merino / Alcantara, the 3-point seatbelts, revised door trim, a rear panel replacing the rear seat and others. The most important part of the performance vehicle is found under its hood where the 3.0l six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, with water injection, is producing no less than 500 HP (368 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 3.8s and top speed is 305 km/h (190 mph).
