BMW has recently released a promotional video for the new M5 equipped with the optional Competition Package and finished in a matte blue paint.
The German based automaker BMW may have introduced the new generation of the M5 a few years ago, but that isn’t stopping the company from releasing new promotional videos for this model. The newest clip is showing the M5 fitted with the optional Competition Package and finished in matte blue. This is bringing M carbon ceramic brakes, some upgrades to the suspension and damping systems, a 10 mm lower ride height, sport exhaust system, 20-inch m rims, blackened tailpipes and 15 HP (11 kW) more).
The BMW M5 fitted with the competition Package can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 0.1 seconds faster than the standard version and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 0.2 seconds faster. The standard BMW M5 is coming with a 4.4 liter V8 engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and it has a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft), available between 1,500 and 5,750 rpm. The current M5 has been in production since 2012 and it’s currently being assembled in Dingolfing, Germany.
