A new video upload with the BMW M5 Jahre M5 Special Edition is showing the impressive ride accelerating from a standstill to no less than 300 km/h.
When the BMW M5 Jahre M5 Special Edition was introduced a few months back, we honestly thought that this would be the last time we will hear about it, but a new video upload with the limited edition of the powerful premium sedan is showing its performance. The clip posted below is revealing the 0 to 300 km/h acceleration, which is capable with the help of the M Driver’s Package, which is lifting the electronic top speed limiter from 250 km/h (155 mph) to 305 km/h (190 mph).
The BMW M5 Jahre M5 Special Edition is providing an extra 40 HP (29 kW) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) of torque more than the standard car. This means that the 4.4 liter V8 twin turbo engine is now capable of producing an impressive 600 HP (441 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to the seven-speed DCT dual clutch transmission, which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. This is impressive considering the fact that the sedan is weighing 1,870 kg (4,123 lbs).
