BMW has recently announced that the M5 M Performance Edition will be launched in the United Kingdom, but there is no official word on the price tag just yet.
According to the German based automaker, the BMW M5 M Performance Edition will be launched in the United Kingdom in the nearby future, and in order to highlight the “event”, the car company has released an official video with the powerful model. BMW also says that the M5 M Performance Edition will be available in three Frozen exterior colors, Blue, White and Red, and production of the vehicle will be limited to just 30 units, 10 made in each color.
There is no official word on the BMW M5 M Performance Edition’s engine or price tag just yet, but as a small reminder, the regular BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 552 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 680 Nm (502 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission which is allowing the powerful sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
