A new promotional video starting the new M6 Coupe and M6 Convertible has been recently released by the German based automaker BMW.
Making its official debut earlier this year in February and with its price list announced during the 2012 New York International Auto Show, the BMW M6 Coupe and the BMW M6 Convertible are once again entering our news, this time with the car manufacturer releasing a new commercial video with the two powerful models. The new promo is obviously aimed towards the United States, where the M6 Coupe has a starting price of $106,995 while the M6 convertible will start at $113,995. The two vehicles will arrive in showrooms across the country in late summer.
The new BMW M6 Coupe and the BMW M6 Convertible are powered by the same engine, the 4.4 liter turbocharged V8, which is producing a total output of 560 HP, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. BMW says that the M6 Coupe can do the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.2 seconds and the M6 Convertible in 4.3 seconds, but with the optional M Driver’s Package, the M6 can reach a top speed of 189 mph and 155 without it. More details on the two powerful models for the North American market will be announced close to their launch.
