BMW has released a couple of presentation videos with the brand new 2-Series Coupe, a few hours after the model has been officially unveiled.
The German based automaker BMW has recently released two new presentation videos with the 2-Series Coupe. The model in question is going to be presented during the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit, next January, and it will hit the United States auto market in spring, starting at 33,025 USD for the 328i and 44,025 USD for the M235i, including the destination and handling charge. In Europe, the model will also come as a 220i, from 25,168 EUR, a 220d, for 27,410 EUR or a top of the line M235i, priced at 36,764 EUR.
The engine lineup available for the U.S. will include the 228i’s 2.0 liter N20, with four cylinders and a single twin scroll turbo, producing 240 HP at 5,000-6,500 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque, available between 1,250 and 4,500 rpm. The 0 to 60 mph sprint takes 5.4 seconds and top speed stands at 130 mph. The model can return 23/35/27 in city/highway/combined for the 8-speed automatic. The 235i is powered by the N55 3.0L six-cylinder with its 322 HP at 5,800-6,000 rpm and 332 lb-ft, available at 1,300-4,500 rpm. The 0 to 100 mph acceleration takes 4.8s and top speed is 155 mph.
