A couple of videos with the new generation of the BMW X1 have been released recently by the German based automaker.
The 2016 BMW X1 has been officially unveiled a few months back and it is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a couple of videos. The two clips, which can be seen below, right after the jump, will put a smile on your face as they are focusing on two different “aspects” of the premium compact crossover but with a dose of humor. However, rather than be spoilers, we will let you take a look at them for yourselves.
The BMW X1 is brand new. It has received a new architecture which is bringing the front-wheel drive on cheaper models but it is also offering the xDrive all-wheel drive on higher-end versions. The vehicle is competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLA and with the Audi Q3 and its design, for the cabin and the exterior, is making it look closer to its larger brothers, the X3 and the X5. Some of the goodies found on it include the head-up display, the freestanding iDrive infotainment system, the Aluminum Hexagon trim, the Alcantara / cloth sport seats and others. The engine lineup includes the 2.0l petrol unit, with 192 HP and 280 Nm of torque, along with the 2.0 liter with 231 HP and 350 Nm. The diesel options include the 2.0 liter with 150 HP, with 190 HP and with 231 HP.
