A new and relevant review of the 2016 BMW X1 is ending up on the web.
The BMW X1 is now in its new generation. It has remained a compact crossover with premium touches and it’s still competing against the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the Audi Q3. But is this really what you want if you happen to be on the lookout for a similar vehicle. Well, the guys from CarBuyer are trying to find out just how practical the model is and you will definitely see some nice features of the ride if you will decide to check out this video. We won’t be spoilers and tell you all about it because you have to see it for yourselves.
In the meantime we will remind you that the 2016 BMW X1 has been officially unveiled this summer. It is riding on a new architecture which is bringing front-wheel drive on cheaper variants or the xDrive all-wheel drive on more expensive versions. In terms of looks, the compact crossover has now gotten seriously close to its two larger brothers, the X3 and the X5, but size does matter in the end. Some of the goodies found on it include the Alcantara / cloth sport seats, the Aluminum hexagon trim, the freestanding iDrive infotainment system and so on. Under its hood, engines such as the 192 HP and 280 Nm of torque 2.0 liter petrol are available, along with the 2.0l 231 HP and 350 Nm. Diesel options include the 2.0l unit in three outputs, 150 HP, 190 HP and 231 HP.
