The German based automaker BMW has recently released the first video with the BMW X4 Concept, where the crossover is being explained by the company’s head of Exterior Design.
After it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, the BMW X4 Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing the first video with the model. The footage posted below is showing the BMW head of Exterior Design, Domagoj Dukec, who is explaining the model. According to the company’s official, the X4 Concept is using the X6 recipe, combined with dynamic, strength and elegance.
The BMW X4 Concept is based on the X3 and it’s a smaller version of the X6. The model, in its concept form, will be officially presented to the public later on this month, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, while the final production version has been scheduled to go on sale in early 2014. The BMW X4 will be produced in Spartanburg, South California, where the carmaker will invest 900 million USD. The BMW X4 is expected to get the 2.0L TwinPower Trubo engine under its hood, with 240 BHP, along with the 3.0L TwinPower Turbo, with 300 BHP.
