The German based automaker BMW has recently released the very first video with the brand new X4 crossover, in its concept form.
The BMW X4 is getting closer and closer to its future customers and after it was officially unveiled, in concept version, just a few hours ago, the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of an official video. The BMW X4 is based on the X3 and it’s a smaller version of the X6. The model is getting a lower roofline, plastic body cladding, dual exhaust system, LED taillights, distinctive rear bumper with underbody protection, sculpted hood, LED DRL headlights and a Long Beach Blue exterior finish.
The car manufacturer didn’t say anything on what is found under the hood of the X4 Concept or on what might power the final production version, once it will hit the market, but rumors are showing that the 2.0 liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, which is good for 240 BHP (179 kW) and 352 Nm of torque (260 lb-ft), or by a 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo unit, producing 300 BHP (224 kW) and 406 Nm of torque (300 lb-ft), will probably be adopted. The BMW X4 Concept will make its public debut during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The final version will go on sale in early 2014.
