The BMW X4 has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
BMW is getting ready to introduce a brand new vehicle to its lineup, the X4, which will follow the same path as its larger brother, the X6, but on a smaller scale. The upcoming BMW X4 will be based on the X3 and it will get a sloping roofline and some other tweaks, which should make it a good alternative to customers looking for an SAV who can’t afford the X6 or simply consider that the vehicle is too large for them.
The brand new BMW X4 will be produced in Spartanburg, along with the X3, and it’s believed to make its debut with just a few engines, with two- and three-cylinders, turbocharged, which will probably equip the 28i and the 35i versions. The diesel 20d version is also expected to make its way onto the new BMW X4, along with some M Performance parts. The BMW X4 is expected to be officially presented to the public next year, during the Detroit Motor Show. More details on the model will be announced over the following months.
