The clip posted below is showing you a brand new example of the Corvette Z06 being crashed into some trees.
It has been only a few months since Chevrolet has started delivering the new Corvette Z06, which is based on the C7 generation, so it was just a matter of time until we saw one of the first models being crashed. And it isn’t just your ordinary crash because, we have to admit, it is pretty spectacular and adding the fact that it has been caught on camera makes it even better for us viewers but a lot worse for the driver’s ego. Even so, it is definitely worth taking a look at the clip.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is available from 78,995 USD for the coupe and 83,995 USD for the convertible. Both body styles can also get the Z07 Performance package which is adding the adjustable rear spoiler, large winglets, carbon ceramic matrix brake rotors and Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup tires for 7,995 USD more. The Carbon Fiber Ground Effects, price from 2,995 USD, is also available, bringing the function front splitter and side skirts made from carbon fiber, along with the larger rear spoiler. All versions of the Corvette Z06 are coming with the same 6.2 liter V8 engine under the hood, regardless of the trim, producing 650 HP (485 kW) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a 7-speed manual or a new 8-speed automatic transmission.
