Bugatti has recently unveiled a special edition of its hyper car, named the Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux, which was actually a one-off model.
Special editions of its powerful hyper car, the Veyron, and the Bugatti name go hand in hand and the latest creation made by the Volkswagen sub-brand is wearing the Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux name. According to the automaker, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux was a one-off model being designed and developed for a mysterious man named Simon, as a 40th birthday present, coming with a carbon fiber exterior, black alloy wheels blue leather seats and black Super Sport logos on the headrests.
As a reminder, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is powered by a quad turbocharged sixteen-cylinder engine which is developing a total output of 1.184 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 1.500 Nm or 1.106 lb-ft, being able to hit a top speed which has been limited at 415 km/h (258 mph), but a special version can do 430 km/h (268 mph), which was a new speed record and the model was named the world’s fastest production vehicle. The Bugatti Veyron has been in production ever since 2005 and the Super Sport is being made since 2012, but a new generation of the hyper car is coming in the nearby future.
