Bugatti has recently taken out the Veyron Super Sport and what better place to put the gas down than the famous German track, there the Nurburgring.
There is no official word from the Volkswagen brand on why the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has been caught on camera on the Nurburgring but rumors are saying that the impressive hypercar is trying to set a new lap record. In case the Germans want to break the lap record, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has to be driven pretty fast in order to beat the 6:48s of the Radical SR8LM, with braveness on the corners and a double dose of the “brave pill”.
As a quick reminder, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is being powered by an impressive quad turbocharged 8.0 liter 16-cylinder engine, which is developing a total output of 1,183 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft), which is allowing the supercar to reach a limited top speed of 415 km/h (258 mph), but an unlimited version has set a land speed record for production cars back in 2010, averaging a top speed of 431 km/h (268 mph). You can watch the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in action on the Nurburgring below. Enjoy!
