[VIDEO] Cadillac ATS-V Coupe reviewed by Motor Trend image

The guys from Motor Trend have taken a drive in one hot two-door performance model for the mid-size segment, the Cadillac ATS-V Coupe.

It may have been unveiled just a few months back and made its European debut too in March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, alongside its larger brother, the CTS-V, but Motor Trend has recently gotten their hands on it. Some big words are used in describing it and we cannot help the feel that it has something to do with the fact that this is an American ride. The review is actually telling us that the model is better than the BMW M3, or the M4 better said, but that is pretty hard to imagine.

The Cadillac ATS-V and ATS-V Coupe are both of them coming with an aerodynamic body kit, with large air intakes, a ventilated carbon fiber hood, a front splitter, new side skirts, a prominent rear spoiler, a four-tailpipe exhaust system, 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and a lot of things to help them differentiate from the regular models. The ATS-V Sedan has a starting price of 62,000 USD, without the 950 USD destination charge, but if the ATS-V Coupe is what you are interested in, than get ready to pay 63,660 USD for it. This means that it’s slightly cheaper than the BMW M4 Coupe but not as cheap as the Lexus RC F. Power is provided by a 455 HP (339 kW) and 603 Nm (445 lb-ft) of torque 3.6L twin turbo V6, connected to either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic.
