A new promotional video with the 2016 Cadillac CTS-S, released by the car manufacturer, is showing the performance sedan do some burnouts.
Cadillac is now trying to keep the 2016 CTS-V into the spotlights, until it will be officially presented to the public, next month, during the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The model in question is a rival for the BMW M5 and Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and it is getting a more aggressive aerodynamic body kit, with large air intakes, aggressive front fascia, front splitter, mesh grille, ventilated carbon fiber hood, new side skirts, wide fenders, rear spoiler, four-tailpipe exhaust and 19-inch forged wheels.
The model has been also fitted with upgraded Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, improved steering, Performance Traction Management with four modes, the Tour, Sport, Track and Snow, and so on. Under the hood, the Cadillac CTS-V is getting a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total of 640 HP (477 kW) and 855 Nm (630 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and to go up to 200 mph (322 km/h).
