The North American based automaker Cadillac has released a new video with the ELR, detailing the interior design of the model.
After being officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the brand new Cadillac ELR is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new official video. As a quick reminder, the regular version of the Cadillac ELR has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. The 2014 Cadillac ELR has a 16.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is weighing 198 kg (435 lbs). Charging it from a 240V outlet takes 4.5 hours and when using a 120V outlet, the battery will be filled in 12 hours. A range extender in the shape of a 1.4 liter gasoline unit will allow the powertrain to develop a total output of 207 HP (154 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft). The model has a 2+2 layout, a luxurious cabin, chrome accents, wood inserts, an 8-inch configurable instrument and driver info display, electric power steering, ZF steering gear and more.
