Last week Canadian Gp was most probably one of the most exciting races from this season. There were crashes, there were heavy rain, the race was stopped … last-minute drama, and here, a spot of comedy.
Attempting to retrieve a bit of broken car, this safety chap appears to have spectacularly weak ankles and no knowledge of the reaction between 750bhp carbon-fibre go-karts and podgy human flesh.
Finally no one was hurt and the race was over.
McLaren’s Jenson Button passed race leader Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull on the last lap to win the rain-delayed 42nd edition of the Canadian Grand Prix at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve Sunday.
Button scored his first win of the Canadian race and first of the Formula One, taking advantage of the only mistake made by the reigning drivers’ world champion.
