The new generation of the Skoda Octavia Scout is being praised in the newest review which is signed by Carbuyer.
The most preferred version of the Skoda Octavia by people living in cold climates, where winter really kicks in with heavy snow, is the Octavia Scout. But is this really what people want? Well, according to the most recent review of the model, which has been made by Carbuyer, the answer is “yes”. The video posted below is praising the vehicle which has extra ground clearance, a larger angle of attack than its predecessor and all-wheel drive, which, theoretically, make it more capable of off road.
The 2015 Skoda Octavia Scout has seen daylight at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle is based on the Octavia Combi and it has black plastic moulding, the Scout badge on the radiator grille, aluminum effect roof railings, a ride height raised by 171 mm and 17-inch alloy wheels, as standard, with 220/50 tires. The engine lineup includes the 2.0 liter TDI, with 184 HP (135 kW), connected to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, burning 5.1L/100km and emitting 134 g/km of CO2. The 2.0L TDI with 150 HP is also available, along with the 1.8 TSI, with 180 HP (132 kW).
