A new review with the Ferrari 488 GTB has been released and it has been signed by the guys from Motor Trend.
Over these past few months, since Ferrari has introduced the new 488 GTB, we have seen a lot of reviews with it and now time has come for the guys at Motor Trend to check it out up-close. Angus Mackenzie was the guy who held the wheel in this clip and he was pretty impressed with it. But we won’t be spoilers and tell you all about it as you should definitely click the play button for yourselves.
The Ferrari 488 GTB is the official successor of the 458 Italia. The model is nothing more than a simple facelift but it is easily distinguishable compared to its predecessor as it has received an updated design. The supercar is more aerodynamic and it has new LED taillights, a new diffuser, a new wider front spoiler, larger air intakes and so on. The engine, which used to be a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8, has been replaced by a newer unit, a 3.9 liter twin turbo. This is capable of producing a total output of 670 HP (493 kW) and it has a peak torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft), sent to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 3 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (205 mph).
