The brand new BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage is the subject of a new video which has been shot at Lake Como.
One of the most impressive one-off cars put together by BMW is the main star of this video which has been shot at its official unveil, during the 2015 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. The clip is showing some driving footage of the car and you can see from the start that it managed to gain a lot of attention. The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage has been designed to pay tribute to the iconic 3.0 CSL and it is getting an aggressive front fascia, a prominent twin kidney grille flanked by the laser LED headlights and a front splitter made from carbon fiber.
The vehicle is also coming with the carbon fiber side skirts, with muscular fenders, small rearview cameras replacing the conventional mirrors, roof spoilers, a CFRP diffuser, LED taillights and a set of 21-inch alloy wheels. The interior design of the car has the minimalist instrument cluster, the six-point harness, lightweight sport seats with contrast stitching, alloy pedals, unique steering wheel, an integrated fire extinguishing system, a carbon fiber roll cage and several other goodies. BMW hasn’t released any performance specifications on the concept car but under its hood we do know that a six-cylinder inline engine is found. More details on it remain unknown at this time.
