A recent video with the BMW M4 Convertible is showing the German performance vehicle on a drag strip, doing a quarter mile.
We have seen the BMW M4 Convertible over these past few months in just about every environment possible and now a recent video uploaded onto the web is showing the performance drop-top on a drag strip. We already know that the Coupe can do the quarter mile constantly in the 11 second mark, but how fast is its cabrio brother? Well, the answer to that question can be found in the video posted below.
The BMW M4 Convertible has managed to lap the Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 52 seconds, making it 13 seconds faster than its predecessor. The model is packing the same 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine as the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe, which is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW), with a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 4.1 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) and it can be raised to 280 km/h (174 mph) with the M Driver’s Package.
