A video with the recently unveiled Ford Focus RS has been released by EVO and this is your chance of finding out more about the newest addition to the hot hatch segment.
The Ford Focus RS is one of the most awaited vehicles in its segment and after being officially unveiled a couple of weeks ago, it continues to shine in new videos. Such a clip has been uploaded recently by EVO and it is showing us the supervisor of Exterior Design for the Focus RS, Ernesto Rupar, answering the questions of Henry Catchpole.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS has received a new body kit which is making it look instantly recognizable. The model also has 19-inch alloy wheels covered with the 235/35 tires made by Michelin, an exhaust system with dual pipes, an appealing blue paint similar to the one used on the GT supercar, Recaro seats in the cabin, the 10-speaker sound system made by Sony, rearview camera, SYNC, alloy pedals, bespoke instrument graphics and others.
Under the hood of the new Ford Focus RS, the engineers have added the 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine, the same one from the mid-range Mustang. The unit has four cylinders and it is capable of producing a total of 315 HP (235 kW) on the hot hatch. No torque or performance figures have been announced yet and these are expected to be made public during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next month, where the model will be officially presented to the public.
