A McLaren P1 with gold finished parts signed by MSO has been recently spotted in Malaysia.
Did you ever wonder what gold finishes made by MSO would look like on a McLaren P1? Well, if the answer is yes, you now have the chance of finding out as such a supercar has been recently spotted in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian finished vehicle has the gold looks on the engine cover, on the exhaust shield, on the wheels and on some parts of the interior, making it look instantly recognizable.
Under the hood, we can find the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine as the one in the regular hypercar, which is rated at 727 HP (542 kW) and 719 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. The internal combustion unit is backed up by an electric motor providing an extra 176 HP (131 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, which is bringing the total output of the car to 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque.
From 0 to 100 km/h, the McLaren P1 needs just 2.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) it needs 6.8 seconds and it can reach 300 km/h (186 mph) from a standstill in 16.5 seconds. Top speed of the supercar has been electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph). The P1 has been officially presented to the public back in 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show, and it has been put together in just 375 units.
