Chevy has released a video with the brand new Corvette Z06 in which some of the bits and pieces of the sports car are being detailed.
Following its world debut made during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, just a few weeks ago, the brand new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video which has been released by the company. Chevy says that the new Corvette Z06 is taking its power from an LT4 6.2 liter V8 engine, which has been equipped with an intercooler and a 1.7 liter Eaton supercharger. The total output developed by the assembly not stands at 625 HP (466 kW) and 861 Nm (635 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a 7-speed manual transmission or to the new eight-speed automatic transmission, which is sending power to the rear wheels. No pricing details on the new Corvette Z06 have been announced yet.
