The 2012 Chevrolet Sonic’s stunts are being put together in a new video which will be presented this weekend during the Super Bowl.
After the new generation of the Chevrolet Sonic, or Aveo as it is also known, went from skydiving to bungee-jumping, all of these stunts were put together in a new video, which will promote the small model in the United States, during the Super Bowl, this weekend. The new Chevy Sonic went from 0 to 60 mph in just 0.4 seconds after being dropped from a plane in the Arizona desert, last year, and the model also proved its “skills” in bungee jumping. Chevrolet says that the rest of the 2012 Super Bowl spots will be released on Thursday on the official YouTube channel.
As a reminder, the new generation of the Sonic / Aveo has a starting price in the UK of 9.995 GBP, and the model is coming in three trim levels, the LS, the LT and the LTZ. The LS is coming with air conditioning, cruise control, remote locking, CD stereo radio, electric front windows, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors and a rear spoiler. The LT is adding steering wheel audio controls, chrome gear knob surround, Bluetooth, Driver Information Centre, sunglasses holder, four-way adjustable driver’s seat and 15 inch alloy wheels. The top of the line LTZ version is adding, besides the features mentioned above, six speakers, rear parking sensors, leather wrapped steering wheel and automatic headlamps. Four engines are available for the new Sonic / Aveo generation, two petrol, the 1.2 liter with 86 HP and the 1.4 liter with 100 HP, and two diesels, the 1.3 liter VCDi in two outputs, 75 and 95 HP.
