A new teaser video with the upcoming generation of the Chevrolet Malibu has been released by the North American based automaker once again.
The 2016 Chevrolet Malibu is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of yet another teaser, which has been released by the car manufacturer. The clip posted below is showing various parts of the testing performed on the popular sedan which included some hot and cold weather testing, from Yuma, Arizona, where 42 degrees Celsius have been recorded, to Northern Canada, in a temperature of minus 25 degrees Celsius. The new Malibu generation has also spent some time in the Climatic Wind Tunnel at General Motors Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, where temperatures can vary between -40 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius.
The brand new Chevrolet Malibu will be getting a more curvaceous body compared to the current model, a sloping roofline, LED taillights, LED strip daytime running lights running across the front bumper, a new design for the headlights and so on. The vehicle should drop about 136 kg (300 lbs) from its weight, thanks to the use of lightweight construction such as the high strength steel and its overall design is said to be “ground breaking”. The 2016 Chevrolet Malibu will be officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2015 New York Auto Show, which will be opening its gates on the 1st of April. More details on it are limited at this time.
