Famous automotive journalist Chris Harris has recently went behind the wheel in one of the most impressive supercars money can buy these days, the Ferrari LaFerrari.
Chris Harris has already tested out the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1, last year, and now time has come for him to get behind the wheel of their main rival, the Ferrari 458 Italia. The clip posted below isn’t the usual one because the Drive channel is now behind a paywall where viewers have to pay for the content, so if you were expecting the 15-minute long clip, you’re in for a surprise. Even so, the video posted below is worth looking at.
The Ferrari LaFerrari has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it is the company’s first hybrid supercar and also its fastest ever product. It has a two-door coupe body style and a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. It packs a 789 HP 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, along with a 161 HP electric motor. The total output stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in less than 3 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
A McLaren P1 customized by MSO has been recently spotted lapping Ferrari’s famous Fiorano track.
