Our favorite automotive journalist Chris Harris has gotten behind the wheel of the brand new McLaren 675LT recently.
The range-topping model of the company’s Super Series range is called the McLaren 675LT and it has been unveiled recently. But is it worthy of the “LT” badge? Well, this is a hard question which will be answered eventually. The clip posted below is showing Chris Harris’ review of the impressive British supercar so if you happen to be on the lookout for one, or you are simply trying to find out more about it, you should definitely check it out.
The McLaren 675LT will be produced in just 500 units. All of them will be finished in Delta Red, Napier Green, Chicane Grey or Silica White. The model is getting the air conditioning unit incorporated into the touch screen infotainment system and it is coming with the Alcantara upholstery and the ultra lightweight forged wheels. The most important part of the supercar is found under its hood, where the familiar 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, also used on the 540C, the 570S, the P1 and the previous MP4-12C, is resting. Under the hood of the 675LT, the unit is capable of putting down a total output of 675 HP and it has a peak torque of 700 Nm. Thanks to these figures, the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 2.9 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (205 mph).
