Our favorite automotive journalist Chris Harris has went for a spin in the BMW 320d and the review may surprise you.
Chris Harris has taken a break from testing supercars and he recently went for a spin in the BMW 320d. The German sedan has been taken to the Nurburgring, on a road trip, and has left Chris Harris wonder whether this is really all you need to get around from A to B. We won’t be spoilers anymore and tell you all about the review because you have to check it out for yourselves in the video posted below.
The BMW 3-Series is now in its sixth generation. It has been unveiled a few years back and the Bavarian based automaker has recently introduced a facelifted version. The model tested here is a 320D which is making use of a 2.0 liter (1,995 cc) TwinPower Turbo diesel engine, which is capable of putting down a total output of 184 HP (135 kW) at 4,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft), available from as low as 1,750 rpm. The 320d needs 7.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and its top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Power can be sent to either the RWD or the xDrive AWD through an 8-speed automatic double-clutch transmission.
