One of the most famous auto journalists out there, Chris Harris, has recently sold his Porsche and bought a used Ferrari 599 instead.
Chris Harris is known to be a Porsche fan but, even so, he recently sold his 911 GT3 RS in order to make way into his garage for this Ferrari 599 which, even if it’s a used car, it still is magnificent and a great machine to drive. Chris Harris was banned from driving Ferraris as an auto journalist back in 2011 after he revealed that the carmaker “custom-tunes” the supercars for track tests and media purposes but, while he is not fond of the company, he still loves the vehicles made by it.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 599 has been produced between 2006 and 2012, when it was replaced by the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The 599 came as a grand tourer with two seats and a 6.0 liter V12 engine, mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed sequential transmission. The Ferrari 599 is 4,665 mm long, 1,962 mm wide and 1,336 mm tall. You can watch Chris Harris and his latest supercar in the video posted below. Enjoy!
