The famous automotive journalist Chris Harris has recently went for a spin in Jeremy Clarkson’s Ferrari 458 Spider.
After getting into a “fist fight” with the Italian based automaker, Chris Harris is banned from driving Ferrari supercars so whenever he “feels the need” to make a new video with a Ferrari vehicle, he has to borrow it from friends. This is exactly what happened in this case and the actual owner of the red Ferrari 458 Spider is Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson. Chris Harris may be saying that the supercar in question is owned by Ferrari, but after a quick research we found out that the gold wheels and the license plate fit to the 458 Spider owned by Jezza.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider has been officially presented to the public in 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 570 horsepower at 9,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission and the 0 to 62 mph takes just 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 198 mph and the price in the United States has been set at 257,000 USD.
