[VIDEO] Chris Harris teasing the “holy trinity” of hypercars comparison image

Our favorite automotive journalist Chris Harris has released a teaser video of a comparison between the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Do you remember the image with Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond standing in front of the the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder? Well, it seems that the former Top Gear presenters had nothing to do with these and the comparison will actually be signed by Chris Harris. This is probably the most expected review of the decade since the three carmakers couldn’t come to an agreement on the conditions and locations of a true comparison. Keep in mind that Tiff Needell will be contributing to the video as well.

Before the full video is released, we will remind you that the Ferrari LaFerrari has debuted back in March, 2013, during the Geneva Motor Show, along with the McLaren P1, being followed six months later by the Porsche 918 Spyder. The first two have a rear mid-engine and RWD layout, while the last one is coming with AWD. The Italian hypercar has 950 HP and 900 Nm of torque from a 6.3L V12 and an electric motor, while the British exotic vehicle has 903 HP and 978 Nm from a 3.8L V8 and an electric motor. The German rival is using a 4.6L V8 backed up by two electric motors for a combined output of 887 HP and 1,280 Nm of torque.
