Another video comparison of the trinity of hypercars has hit the web recently and it’s trying to answer a lot of questions.
Putting the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder together on the track in order to find out which one is faster may seem easy enough but when you have no clue on what you’re doing, you won’t answer any questions. We actually had some high hopes for hits video but it ended up letting us down, just like the other ones uploaded onto the web as it basically not offering any conclusions.
You will notice that the Ferrari LaFerrari driver has experienced some traffic on the track which has ruined its time, the fact that the Italian hypercar had a passenger and so did the German one but the P1 only had the driver inside it and also the fact that drivers were different, and this also makes a huge point.
These are customers cars and, sadly, until the three automakers will agree on settling this battle once and for all, videos like this one will continue to keep petrol heads into the mist, leaving them wondering which is faster in a straight line, which can corner better, if the 4WD system of the 918 Spyder is making any difference compared to the RWD of the other two and so on, but since there have been 2 years since the three made their debut, chances are a real comparison will never be made, and if it will, it will not be recognized by all three companies.
