The Chevrolet Corvette, in its new generation, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new promotional video, which has been recently released by the North American based automotive giant, General Motors. The clip posted below is showing the new Corvette in action, while highlighting some of its performance and handling. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is being offered in two body styles, the coupe and the roadster, and both of them are taking their power from the same LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine. The unit is rated at 455 HP (335 kW), at 6,000 rpm, and 623 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque, available at 4,600 rpm in the solid roof version, while the drop top has 450 HP (331 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 609 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque, at 4,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a 7-speed manual transmission, which is sending power to the rear-wheels.
