A Dacia Duster SUV has been recently turned into a limo by a group of students in Romania who had to word four months in order to complete this one-off vehicle which represents their project.
The Dacia Duster is becoming more and more appreciated throughout the Old Continent and not only and after the Romanian based automaker has recently announced that the model has been launched in the United Kingdom, where it came in right-hand drive, the SUV is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time by a group of Romanian students, who have transformed it into a stretched limo after four months of work.
The Duster’s chassis has been cut in half at the B-pillars and 1.5 meters of sheet metal were added. The students have also installed a lot of equipment for ultimate comfort but unfortunately the Dacia Duster stretched limo is still getting the same 1.6 liter gasoline engine under its hood, which is producing just over 100 horsepower so the vehicle is definitely underpowered, when compared to its large body. The Dacia Duster SUV in question represents a project car for the Renault Technologie Roumanie program and the video below has been shot between Bucharest and Pitesti, on a highway close to the Dacia plant.
